Since graduation from Brooklyn Law School in 1973 and admission to the Bar, I practiced law primarily in the areas of surrogate, real property, civil appellate practice, guardianship, and estates. I am Admitted to the Bar of the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Military Appeals, and serve on the Military Law Committee of the Brooklyn Bar Association.

  I have served as a JAG officer, contributed to the Army military law instruction modules on estate practice for the United States Army, and have taught Continuing Legal Education courses to legal officers on landlord/tenant law and the rights of servicemen.  

  I currently serve the court as both an Article 81 Guardian and Court Evaluator for those who are not capable of defending themselves, and have served in that capacity in hundreds of matters.  Additionally, I was legal/business American correspondent for KEIEJUKU, Japan's leading business magazine, and published numerous articles on various business issues.
