  Jeffrey Saltiel has practiced in the areas of landlord/tenant, real estate, foreclosure, and bankruptcy law since his admission to the bar in 1995.  In addition to being admitted to practice in the State of New York, Mr. Saltiel is also admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey, and the US District Courts in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, and the District of New Jersey, as well as the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

 

  In addition to his talents as a trial attorney, Mr. Saltiel has served as a Guardian Ad Litem in over 100 proceedings before the Housing Court on behalf of individuals who are unable to represent themselves.  He regularly donates his time to serve as a Small Claims Arbitrator and in 2005 was honored by the New York City Civil Court as the Arbitrator of the Year.


  Mr. Saltiel has taught several continuing education courses to attorneys and real estate agents and has often testified as an expert in Housing Court proceedings.  He has served as Vice President of the Kings County Housing Court Bar Association for the past 5 years.
