Leslie Perez-Bennie has focused her attention to areas of complex real estate litigation and appellate practice. She has written numerous appeals to both Appellate Term and Appellate Division resulting in enforcement of clients’ rights and clarification of rent regularity issues. Her expertise also includes landlord-tenant litigation, contract disputes, and title controversies.
Ms. Perez-Bennie was involved with significant Loft Law prior to joining Wenig Saltiel LLP, including the case of Corastor v. Mastny, 12 Misc. 3d 13 (AT 2&11, 2006), which defined landlord rights in illegally converted units. Her extensive knowledge of computer and on-line research has been instrumental in obtaining favorable results for many of our clients.
