Meryl Wenig has often testified before Federal and State Courts as an expert on landlord tenant issues and is well respected by her peers for her detailed trial skills and handling of cutting edge cases. She has successfully brought numerous Article 78 proceedings to prevent judges from exceeding their authority and legislating from the bench and for the enforcement of statutory rights. Many of these cases have led to landmark decisions which have enhanced litigants' rights.
Having served as Chairperson of the Kings County Housing Court Bar Association Appeals Committee for the past several years, she is a sought-after lecturer for continuing legal education seminars as well as various real estate organizations.
